Charles Ross - Conditions of Sale

1. A buyer's premium of 15% plus VAT will be added to the hammer price of each lot.
    
2. There is not VAT on the lots sold, unless specified.
    
3. No guarantees are given by the Auctioneers as to the description, condition, authenticity or otherwise of any lots.
    
4. All lots must be cleared on the day of the sale up to 5.00pm or on the day after the sale between 9.00am and 4.00pm.
    
5. Payment may be made by cash or, by cheque, if supported by a cheque guarantee card. Cheques will only be accepted for larger sums if arrangements have been made with the Auctioneers beforehand.
    
6. Neither the Auctioneers nor the Vendors accept any responsibility for any items left on the premises after the end of the sale.
    
7. The conduct of the sale shall be the entire responsibility of the Auctioneers whose decision and action in the event of a dispute shall be final.
    
8. There shall be no smoking at any time in the saleroom and the Auctioneers accept no responsibility for injury or theft from any persons attending the sale.
